Snapflo…  Peacefully & Profitably Green…

Cheers to all print professional out there defending our livelihood of printing on paper.
The latest politically correct and misguided “green” movement is targeting removal of any printed paper.  Even church congregations think eliminating paper will save trees .  What the general public doesn’t know is killing our jobs.  Virtually all paper made and sold in the US comes from renewable forests grown expressly to make paper.  These forest’s are dual purpose areas used for outdoor recreation all over the US.  Paper companies allow the general public access to these for camping, hiking etc.  For every tree harvested there 3 are planted.  Each tree processes enough greenhouse gasses to produce 260lbs of oxygen every year to offset global warming

Printer’s Unite!!!  “Green” advocates goal is to eliminate printed paper from business, school and churches is real.  Stand up for our industry.  Remind decision makers that printed, paper communication ia about much more than just paper.  It means local jobs for mill workers, printers, ink and plate manufacturer’s etc.. The economic ripple effect is huge.
Here’s Some Facts & Talking Points:
* Since the year 2000 over 156,627 jobs with benefits have disappeared for a loss of $5,951,820,000.00 billion dollars from our economy.  Many of these workers went to unemployment or welfare rolls?
* Virtually all paper made and sold in the US comes from billions of trees grown in renewable forest’s established solely for paper manufacture.
* Carbonless forms paper has approximately 50% recycled content and is totally recyclable.
* We use ONLY soy based printing inks and have eliminated alcohol and most solvents from the production process.
* Vegetable based capsule  create the image on our carbonless paper.
* We are always at YOUR service…
Upholding the honor and truth of printers while protecting our planet.  Snapflo
